Practice Test: Creating users with options

Creating users with different options.   This example will show exactly how to create users with varied options:

Create users tom , john and harry.   Set harry to UID 1234, set john shell to non-interactive, and set all passwords to redhat99.

Solution:

  1.  useradd tom
  2. useradd  -s /bin/nologin john
  3. useradd -u 1234 harry
  4. passwd tom
  5. passwd john
  6. passwd harry
